Kayindy Lake Trip

A picture I took of the host family's house. A single hibiscus(?) flower is growing along the wall.

The hike to Kayindy took me an hour, mostly because my muscles were so sore from the hike to Kolsai on the day before, and this was the first photo I took once I got to the water.

This lake is the one where there are dead trees in the water.

Panorama.

Now, these pictures are from a path just above the lake.

Lunch back at the host house in the afternoon. This is the Kazakh version of borsch, which does not feature pickled cabbage.
